SISTER OF BONDED PAIR
Basket is a happy, young cat with a pretty orange tabby and white coat. She is now about a year and a half old. Basket is very friendly and loves to jump in your lap. She will snuggle against your neck and purr loudly. She is a very good jumper and likes to look out the window at birds and squirrels. She will come running if you call her as she loves to be with people. Basket is adventurous, brave and playful. She loves cardboard scratchers of all shapes and sizes; little stuffed mice or other stuffed little cat toys; and anything attached to a string and slowly moving across her line of sight. Between rounds of play she enjoys love and pets from her foster mom, to give kisses in return and a finish with a good cat nap. Although she is loves humans and toys her favorite thing to do is play with her sister, Tasket.
We rescued Basket and Tasket from an open-admission shelter in southern Illinois. They were adopted at four months old into a loving home with three little girls. The smallest child developed allergies and nothing they tried alleviated her symptoms. The family reluctantly returned Basket and Tasket to us in hopes that they will quickly find their forever home. This family describes the girls as, “a very loving pair of cats who like the safetly of a home and are not escape artists, good with kids, don’t mind being petted even when eating, never a hiss, always sweet.”
This beautiful little girl is guaranteed to bring smiles, fun and lots of love to her forever family. Basket must be adopted with her sister Tasket as they are bonded and have complimenting personalities. They have no experience with dogs. They would likely do fine in a home with other cats, and are very comfortable with respectful children.
