Hi I’m Bubbles! I was very hungry, sad and dirty when I was found. A good Samaritan was driving behind a garbage truck and saw something fall out. She noticed that something was moving. It was me. She scooped me up and helped me. Even though I was tiny and filthy, she knew I wanted to live. She called a rescue friend and I was put into a foster home with other kittens, where I received love and careful monitoring. I had to take medicine, yuck! But it helped me get healthy, and look at me now! I have grown into a beautiful and sleek girl, and I’m so grateful to people for looking out for me.
I love my foster brothers, but especially Chaplin. We have been together since I was found. We are a bonded pair, and must be adopted together. Chaplin was rescued from outside just before I was. We took our medicines, and got better together. He wants me to assure you that he doesn’t let the scar on his eye bother him at all! I will need to be adopted with him because he understands me best. I like other cats, but sometimes they are too much for me. I like it when they’re gentle and have impeccable cat manners! Chaplin is brave, and shows me that everything is ok. I’m not really shy, I just like to be extra safe. I love people and attention, chasing, climbing, running around with mouse toys, and O-M-G, those wand toys make me so happy! I’m good at catching things and I have strong legs for kicking my catnip pillows!
Bubbles has the prettiest green marble eyes, perfect for gazing lovingly. She’s a gentle soul, who wants nothing more than love and affection. She might nibble your fingers from time to time, (or nose!), but it’s genuinely a gesture of affection. She gets along best with kittens her size, who have a gentle play style, and enjoy the chase, without the ferocity. She has spunk, but saves it for fun. She’s a lover, not a fighter, a complete Snuggle-Bubbles! When she’s awake, those biscuit makers never stop…and the head butts! You will have to giggle! Without fail, she will also try to stuff her face in your nose!
Bubbles and Chaplin will do best in a home with respectful children, who respond to a cat’s needs with calm and affection and understand that playtime is on the kitten’s schedule! They both enjoy other friendly, non threatening cats, and might adapt well to a cat friendly dog who isn’t too busy. Of course, being the only pets, and sole recipients of their human’s affection works as well! Visit them both at The Windy Kitty Cat Cafe.
All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.
