Meet Campbell

Campbell is approximately 2 years old and has a beautiful grey and white coat. He loves being in the center of the household action but is also good at keeping himself entertained, interacting with other cats, and loving on his humans. He loves playing with his toys and can play by himself for long periods of time. His favorite toys are stuffed fabric balls that he swings and chases all through the house – and hides in his cat tunnel. Campbell also enjoys any interactive toy that challenges him; especially a laser.

When he’s not entertaining himself, you might find Campbell running and playing with his fellow foster cats, and even the family dog. Campbell also likes being around his humans. He likes to be around everyone and in everyone’s business. Campbell considers himself a supervisor. He watches his foster mom cook and fold laundry. He even watches her out the window when she’s working in the yard or cleaning the pool. Campbell’s foster mom says that his gentle spirit is very calming to the humans in his presence. In his downtime, Campbell enjoys a nice, long nap on his window perch.

We rescued Campbell from a Craigslist posting “Free to Good Home”. This type of posting can be very dangerous if a pet is placed in the wrong hands. Luckily for Campbell, we saw the ad and one of our foster homes offered to pick him up and take care of him until he was ready for adoption. She even transported Campbell from Oswego, IL to Chicago so he would have the opportunity to find his safe and forever home.

The ideal home for Campbell would have family members that can give him a lot of attention and would also have at least one other cat. Campbell is also looking for a home where he can sleep with his people and isn’t expected to let his people carry him around.

He is already neutered, FIV/FeLV tested negative, Avid micro-chipped, de-wormed and has all necessary shots. He is ready to go to a loving home. Adoption fee is $125
