About Chestnut – Female – 3 Years

Chestnut she is a sweet girl who loves her human, toys and pets. She makes all kinds of biscuits for you, sometimes it looks like she is marching in place when she is doing her biscuit thing. In the beginning she is shy but warms up quickly with attention and pets. She loves to headbutt you when demanding for her pets. She loves to play with all her toys and enjoys sleeping in her cat tree or anything that has a tunnel shape she can crawl in. Chestnut will watch you work and wait for you to play with her. She gets along with other cats that are not aggressive, but it takes her a little bit to warm up to them.

We rescued Chestnut from Chicago Animal Control where she was brought in with 31 other cats that were found in a Chicago basement living off dog food. When we rescued her all of her buddies were either adopted or rescued, but she was still there and at the time CACC’s longest-term cat.

Chestnut would thrive in a loving home, as a single cat or with other non-aggressive cats. With someone that can give her attention and a little time to get settled in. No dogs, kids ok if gentled with her.

She is Spayed, FIV/FeLV tested negative, Avid micro-chipped, de-wormed and has all necessary shots.she is ready to go to a loving home. Adoption fee is $125
