Meet Connie

Hi, I am Connie. I am roughly 2 years old and spent the last few months raising an adorable litter of six kittens and now it is my turn to get the attention! I am a beautiful tortoise shell kitty with big green eyes. It looks like I stepped in peanut butter the way my black paws are muddled with tan flecks.

I most likely had a home when I was younger but hadn’t had one for a while. Fortunately, word on the street was that one of the amazing volunteers at PPAH wasn’t too far away, so I headed in her direction in hopes of getting a meal and a safe place to raise my little family. She fed me, brought me inside, and found me a foster family (with my own real midwife!) to help me have my babies. They were born on April 7, 2020 — six of them! Two boys and four girls. Five of them have been adopted – just one, my sweet daughter, Tarragon, is looking for a family.

My foster says I am the absolute most loving and doting momma. For the first week, I wouldn’t even leave my babies for a dinner break, so she fed me wet food out of her hand as I nursed them. Eventually they started to grow and wander around and I watched over their every move. I taught them to play, use the kitty box, and to be friendly, loving pets. They are a wild bunch now that they are growing up. They love to jump on me, especially when I go in our play tunnel. A little bit of my heart will go with each of them but I know they are all going to great homes. Hopefully there is a great home for me too! A lot of people want to adopt a kitten and not an adult cat, but I am young and have so much love to give! When you pet me, I will purr and make biscuits for you with my paws.

Initially I may be a little shy, but soon I will be talking to you, rubbing on your leg, and rolling on the ground for you to pet me. My foster family has a dog and I like her, as well as their other cats (after I got to know them, of course). I tend to get a little nervous around new people and small kids, and will hide until I feel safe. I am gentle and sweet and would make a great companion if you give me a chance.

She has been spayed, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, received her microchip, rabies and FVRCP vaccines, 2 rounds of deworming and flea/ticks treatments. she is ready to go to a loving home.  Adoption fee is $125
