Darry is a beautiful and silky black and white kitten, with white boots, a white tummy, and the longest white whiskers! Darry is a quiet, sweet and gentle kitten, who is a little more shy than his brothers. Entice him with your patience, and he will reward you by showing off his soft white belly fur for rubs, slow eye blinks(kitten hugs), and peaceful purrs. If he’s feeling spunky, he will show you his little bear paws, and invite you and his kitty friends for a gentle wrestle. Once Darry is confident in your love, he will join you for naps on the couch and playtime with a fun wand toy. Play and food are the way to his heart! Darry really follows the lead of the others and tends to attach to one person more strongly.
The Outsiders, Johnny-cakes, Darry, and Ponyboy, are a loveable trio of kittens, with soft, down-like fur, and gently playful demeanors. Who would ever have guessed that they were street kittens, rescued from outdoor living?! These beautiful boys were found in an alley, just before the first big cold spell of winter. They were so young, that we’re not sure they would have made it without warm shelter. The advantage of their young age is that with patience and multiple daily pet and play sessions, they have become sweet and sociable babies! They’re so grateful to be safe, and are ready for loving homes.
Darry is very sweet, but he’s shy. He will need a calm and quiet home, and to be adopted with Ponyboy, Johnny-cakes or his foster brother, Clark Kent. He’s a wonderful kitten, but will take time to warm up. According to their foster mom, who adores all four of them, “They are wonderful kittens. Ideal really. They’re not terribly rambunctious, but they like people. Clark Kent, too.” As with any cat, it will be best for all of these kittens to have a gradual introduction to a new home. The recommendation is to start out a new cat in a bathroom or bedroom until they are confident in that space. Kittens typically demonstrate when they’re ready to see more.
He is already neutered, FIV/FeLV tested negative, Avid micro-chipped, de-wormed and has all necessary shots. He is ready to go to a loving home. Adoption fee is $125

All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.
