Elston

Elston

Elston – Female Dilute Tortie – 5 Months

Elston is a pretty, playful and shy girl that will win your heart. She was born in a shelter so we think her slow acceptance towards people is because she hasn’t been around them for very long. Elston is super sweet and never aggressive. She loves being a kitten and plays with all the regular toys. Her foster mom would use a laser as an ice breaker to pick her up and love on her. She needs someone that will work with her timid side until she gains your trust. Elston will purr easily when feeling safe and loves her tummy rubbed. She’s just a little unsure right now. She’s gentle and still young enough to win your trust, just need to continue the effort and be willing to wait for her to blossom.

We rescued Elston along with her mom Saratoga and her brother Woodfield from UCAC, Elston and Woodfield were born at the shelter.

Elston would thrive in a home that is willing to give her a lot of attention and spend the time it requires to break her out of her shell. She loves her brother but not bonded with him, but please consider adopting Woodfield with Elston. She needs a playmate and a patient adopter. When you show and give her love she is very receptive of receiving. We are not sure about dogs and kids are fine if they show her lots of love.

All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.

Download an adoption application.  If you cannot adopt, please share to help Charlotte find a “furrever” home.

You can also help by donating to sponsor her care.

She is already spayed, FIV/FeLV tested negative, Avid micro-chipped, de-wormed and has all necessary shots. She is ready to go to a loving home. Adoption fee is $125.
