Hansel is a sweetheart and true to the fairy tale, loves his sister very much. He is a goofball and will frequently find a hairband to play with or go on an adventure. Hansel is spunky and always the first one to explore new territory. He doesn’t take himself too seriously and loves cuddling. He has the sweetest purr and loves belly rubs. He also loves playing with his cat toys or wrestling with his sister. One of his favorite pranks is using the litter box as you are trying to clean it, That would be annoying if it wasn’t so darn cute.
Hansel is very much bonded to his sister, Gretel. If he can’t hang out with her, he will cry for his sister. He also tries to help her catch her tail or keep her on her toes with surprise pounces. You will frequently find them sleeping together. Hansel would do well in a home with other cats or cat friendly dogs. He enjoys putting a paw under the door so the dogs will give him a gentle pat. He is a very goofy, sweet, and playful cat. Their foster parents are really going to miss this duo.
Gretel is a spunky and playful kitten. She spends most of her days keeping track of her goofball brother and will frequently come to his rescue when he bites off more than he can chew. When she has some alone time she is usually running in circles trying to chase her tail. She is also a very smart cat and can conquer any obstacle. Gretel loves cuddling and will purr up a storm with any pet. Even though her brother will surprise attack her, she usually wins the play fight. She is a great big sister and if she hears Hansel crying will run to his rescue.
Gretel is very much bonded to her brother, Hansel. We have never seen a better sister. She knows when to keep him in line or when to encourage his goofy side. They are a good team and she will bring him food if he is being lazy and staying in bed.
They are the perfect combination: cute and cuddly. Hansel and Gretel must be adopted together. Additionally, they would likely do well in a home with other cats, cat-savvy kids, or cat friendly dogs.
All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.
