About Harrison – Male – 1 Year

Handsome, right? Harrison loves life, cats, lasers, and his bed. Harrison enjoys playing with his cat buddies and makes feline friends easily. He loves being petted and brushed and will roll around and around and around – purring nonstop – while someone is petting or brushing him. He relishes in this kind of attention, but is unsure how to ask for it. Harrison will follow you around the house and watch you work. When you reach out to him and call for him, he makes his way towards you and then stops about 2 feet away.

Harrison has a trust issue that we believe will improve over time, and which the right adopter will be willing to work with. While Harrison hasn’t yet figured out how to seek out physical attention, he loves when he gets it. He is a cute, happy boy without a single mean bone in his body. Neither of his foster moms have ever seen him hiss, swat, or lash out in any way. If you think Harrison may be a good fit for your home, you can be sure that while you’re working to earn his trust, he will entertain you with his silly behavior and and cute face. And he will earn his place in your heart with his non-needy attitude and by providing easy companionship to the other cat(s) in your home.

We rescued Harrison from a rural, open-admission county shelter along with 4 of his playmates. He waited a long time to be rescued, and we are so happy to give him and his friends a chance to find their forever home.

Harrison would thrive in a loving home that has other cats, and an owner that is willing to work with him to earn his trust. In a secure, forever home, he is sure to blossom and show a whole new side to himself. No kids or dogs.

He is already neutered, FIV/FeLV tested negative, Avid micro-chipped, de-wormed and has all necessary shots. He is ready to go to a loving home. Adoption fee is $125
