Meet Lovey

Lovey is a soon to be 4 month old brown tabby kitten who really should be named “Joey” since he reminds his foster mom so much of the character from Friends. He will immediately charm you off your feet. He is GORGEOUS. And he doesn’t share food, ha ha. Lovey is always asking for hugs and is more than happy to pay you back in purrs and head nuzzles for days. He loves napping in your lap, chasing shadows, and being a good brother to his siblings. Lovey is also a HUGE fan of meal time and is always happy to tell you when he is ready to eat (always) and will chomp down his food. He likes to have his own bowl, but also doesn’t mind trying to steal a bite from his siblings.

Lovey and his siblings Rainbow and Popper were born to a feral mom in a managed feral cat colony. Mom was trapped, spayed, and released back to the colony.

An ideal home for Lovey is one where he has plenty of scratching posts, a few toys, definitely a playmate, and a human that wants to shower him with love. He is currently living with other cats and dogs and should fit in well to any environment.

All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.
