Prince, a Seal Point Siamese/Himalayan mix estimated at 3-4 years old. His sister Black Swan, is a beautiful black and white domestic long hair who is around 7 years old. Although Prince is younger, he acts like Black Swan’s big brother and is very protective of her. Whenever she decides to hide, Prince follows her to check and make sure she’s okay. How sweet is that?
This bonded pair was recently relinquished to Precious Pets after being in a home with rambunctious children who were likely not trained on how to properly behave with cats. Because of this, they are a little shy at first, but very sweet and friendly once you get to know them. When first brought into their new foster home, both cats were timid and didn’t know what to expect. Prince took charge and started exploring their surroundings first. Black Swan quickly followed his lead and they enjoyed sniffing around the rooms, rubbing up on their new furniture and looking out the windows to the outside world.
After some coaxing with treats, they began rubbing up on their foster mom and purring. Prince liked to head-butt his mom’s knee to show his affection. Black Swan kept a short distance but still enjoyed being pet.
They love to be brushed, and with their soft, thick furry coats—they need it! As they’ve become more acquainted with their foster home, they’ve also been finding fun hiding spots to take snoozes. Both cats are large and in charge! They love to snack on treats and are a little chunky, but that’s just more to love, right?
Black Swan and Prince are extremely bonded and must be adopted together. Because of their timid personalities and background, we also request they are adopted into a home without children. They likely can co-exist with a low-key cat in your home, but we would not expect them to become best friends. Their ideal adopter is someone who will be gentle and patient, will brush and pet them daily, and enjoys cuddles.
He is already neutered, FIV/FeLV tested negative, Avid micro-chipped, de-wormed and has all necessary shots. He is ready to go to a loving home. Adoption fee is $125
