Black is definitely the right color for him because we often find that he is the shadow. He is always curious to see what the other kittens are doing, and feels most comfortable exploring alongside a partner. He is a big purr machine and loves giving nuzzles when you lay on the floor.
Lovey and his siblings Rainbow and Popper were born to a feral mom in a managed feral cat colony. Mom was trapped, spayed, and released back to the colony.
An ideal home for Popper is one where he has plenty of scratching posts, a few toys, and some really good napping spots. He is currently living with other cats and dogs and should fit in well to any environment.
All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.
