Sara is a full-figured adult cat with a lot of character. At around 8 years old, Sara was quick to adjust to her new foster home and eager to accept love and cuddles. As much as she loves to cuddle and snuggle, she also appreciates downtime behind the couch or looking out the window on her own. Her other favorite activities include chasing any toy with feathers and grumbling while eating her breakfast and dinner. When overstimulated by loud noises or commotion in the building Sara may hiss or growl but is never aggressive in nature and is easy to calm down with a gentle and reassuring voice. According to her foster mom, Sara has been the ideal quarantine emotional support cat.

We rescued Sara from a vet clinic where her owners had brought her to be euthanized due to no fault of her own. The doctor did not want to euthanize a perfectly healthy cat and they reached out to PPAH for help.

Sara would thrive in a calm and loving home as an only cat. She also needs a home where her people are committed to watching her calories and helping her trim down a little over time.

Sara has been spayed, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, received her microchip, rabies and FVRCP vaccines, 2 rounds of deworming and flea/ticks treatments. she is ready to go to a loving home.  Adoption fee is $125
