About Valentina

Valentina is an adorable, chubby, female cat with a pretty Torbie coat. Torbie is short for a tri-colored cat with a tortoiseshell-tabby coat. They are also called Patched tabby by some. Valentina is happy and curious. She wants to walk through any door that is opened. She is dying to see what, and who, is on the other side. This sweet, outgoing girl is talkative and knows how to ask for attention. We wouldn’t call her low-maintenance or high-maintenance. She seems to fall in the middle, where she actively seeks attention and playtime from humans but also goes and relaxes on her own – like a typical 3-year-old cat does. Valentina might get bored easily. We would recommend regular playtime and interactive toys.

Valentina did great at the vet for her annual exam and vaccines. She purred so loudly the vet could barely hear her heartbeat. Through the entire exam, she distracted the doctor by asking for attention. She kept flopping right over and laid out on her side for lovin’. A little overweight, but not food motivated so could easily be put on a portioned diet rather than free fed in order to get her, and keep her, at an ideal weight.

When she was originally in our care, Valentina exhibited a dislike for other pets. At that point she did have a litter of kittens to protect, so that is to be expected. However, now in foster care again, she doesn’t exhibit any negative behavior to other cats. With a proper introduction, she might be ok with another low-key cat. Valentina’s previous adopters reported that she had some issues with overstimulation and redirecting aggression from said overstimulation. However, she has not exhibited that behavior in her current foster home. Because of this history, Valentina would be best in a home with no kids and no dogs.

She is Spayed, FIV/FeLV tested negative, Avid micro-chipped, de-wormed and has all necessary shots.she is ready to go to a loving home. Adoption fee is $125
