A good name for David would have been “Chaplin”. Check out that mustache! He’s a beautiful black and white boy, 3 – 4 years old with the softest fur! He can be quite the character when he gets silly and rolls around playing with his toys. But his favorite thing of all is his wet food with gravy. This boy is a gravy-lover!
David was rescued from the Chicago Animal Control facility last December and brought into our care. The circumstances of his owner surrender are unknown to anyone other than David. But his demeanor told the story – he was sad and missed his home. As often happens, this little boy came down with an upper respiratory infection brought on by the stress and fear he was feeling. Following his recovery, David was placed in a foster home with other animals. It became evident that he did not care for other animals and the foster mom was unable to get him to socialize with any others.
The ideal home for David is one where he is the lone pet. He needs one on one love and attention to build his confidence back up. An experienced, understanding and loving owner in a quiet environment can change the world for this little guy.
Come visit him at our PetCo adoption center on N. Halsted in Chicago.
He is already neutered FIV/FeLV tested negative, Avid micro-chipped, de-wormed and has all necessary shots. He is ready to go to a loving home. Adoption fee is $125
